This is one wild ride of a read! I mean, where do I even start? The concept of two serial killers teaming up is already intriguing, but the way Sloane and Rowan’s friendship develops throughout the story is what really hooked me. I loved the dynamic between the two and half the time i forget they’re killers, they are so lovely to each other its nice.
At first, I was drawn in by the dark and gritty atmosphere of the book. The author does an incredible job of setting the scene and creating a sense of tension that keeps you on edge. And let me tell you, the action scenes? Heart-pounding!
But what really stood out to me were the characters. Sloane and Rowan are both complex and compelling in their own right. Despite their dark deeds, there’s something strangely relatable about them, and I found myself rooting for them even as they faced their own demons.
And then there’s the romance aspect. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about a love story between two serial killers, but the chemistry between Sloane and Rowan is undeniable. Their relationship adds another layer of depth to the story and kept me guessing until the very end.
