Book Review For Crush (Book 1)

Cami Wimberly has a plan that includes no room for boys. Especially the party animal, Hunter Wilder, no matter how handsome and funny he is. She is beautiful, a senior, extremely talented, gets good grades, and is working towards her dream college to be a musical theater major. Basically, she is perfect, living a perfect life.

Hunter Wilder does not want a girlfriend, that would complicate his life too much. He especially doesn’t want to miss goodie-two-shoes. So how come he can’t keep his eyes off her? He tries to keep his distance but fate seems to be pushing them together. Before long, everyone can see they’re crushing on each other.

I gave this 5 stars.

My Thoughts

Where do I even begin with this series, I love it! It was one of the first young adult series I ever read through to the end. I enjoyed it so much. All the way back in 2014, and I still remember it now.

Why I Enjoyed This Read

The love between Hunter and Cami is unreal, I want to find that kind of love one day. It makes feel all giddy like a teenage girl all over again. Throughout the whole book, I was so keen to know what hunter’s secret was, the Author is great at keeping us guessing till the very end. If you have looked at my other reviews, you’ll see this is the type of book I love, and how can you not been drawn to this book by the cover, I mean look at him, I’m a young girl after all. I fell for Hunter, I’m not going to lie to you. The way he was with Cami is just something else.

Who Would Enjoy This Read

Anyone who loves a young adult romance, with plenty of drama, the conflict of liking someone but having a fight against it and not wanting to give in to temptation, this is perfect for you. Just look at that cover…

Overall Thoughts

I was so excited to get the next book, and the review will be up very soon too. I couldn’t get enough. The first book in a series is always the best because watching the relationships developed from the beginning is always the best part.
