Book Review For Summer Sky

Sky changed her life for a man once, which resulted in an unhappy relationship. She decides enough is enough and wants time away from being in a relationship.

She takes an unplanned trip and leaves the life and the guy she hated behind her.

Rock star Dylan Morgan is struggling with the life he leads, and the fame that comes with it. One day he decides to cut his hair and walk away from the life he finds so difficult for a while.

When Sky and Dylan’s paths cross, Sky decides that Dylan is an arrogant guy, and Dylan is amused by the smart mouthed girl. They soon realize they’re in Broadbeach for the same reason.

Rating

I gave this 4 stars.

My Thoughts

I really loved the dynamic between Sky and Dylan, when they are forced to spend time together, watching the relationship developed is beautiful, I love books like that, where they start off by not liking each other but you can see it’s going to develop into something beautiful, that’s exciting.

Why I Enjoyed This Read

Sky is a character I really enjoyed reading about, she’s a very likable character straight talking and to the point, she made me laugh quite a lot throughout the book which I enjoyed. She reminds me of myself sometimes so I could relate and connect with her.

I really enjoyed how empowering she was at the beginning when she left her low life boyfriend behind.

Who Would Enjoy This Read

If you are looking for a light romance that you can connect with, then this is the book for you. It’s not too heavy but it has just the right kind of drama to make an exciting read.

Overall Thoughts

The Cliffhanger at the end makes me eager to start the next book in the series.
