Author – Lexi Ryan
Book Review For Something Reckless.
He talks dirty to me but I don’t know his name.
He wants to tie me up, but I don’t know his face.
He turns me on, but I couldn’t point him out in a crowd.
Liz has fallen for an anonymous stranger online, and now that stranger wants more. They both want something reckless. Heat, passion, the thrill of being wanted… We suspect the anonymous stranger isn’t a stranger after all.
I gave this 5 stars
The whole way through I was going to give it 3 or 4 stars, but as soon as we got to the ending I was like nope! Its 5 stars for me! The ending had me screaming, I don’t know why I didn’t see the ending coming, but it honestly shocked me, and I was so upset the book was finished. Not even lying when I say I miss it, I miss the story and the characters, and I only finished last night. A lot of people gave the 4 stars, and I can see why, right up to the last chapter, it pushed that last star right out for me.
At times I was screaming at the characters because they just don’t communicate! They could be thinking the same things but they both don’t speak, so they have no idea that they’re actually on the same page, which is so frustrating, but the writer does that beautifully.
Why I Enjoyed This Read
I adored the bond between Liz and Sam, as friends or as more they just had the same passion. I couldn’t get enough of watching the relationship progress, with all the hidden secrets they both had.
Who Would Enjoy This Read
If you love reading passion, fire, and secrets in one story, this is the book you’re looking for! You won’t know what hit you. I was expecting the usual love story but oh no, not this book.
This book is full of passion, fire, and lots of intense sex which usually puts me off reading, but I loved the story and the characters so much, it didn’t put me off this time. There’s plently of secrets, love and temptation, enough temptation to keep turning the pages until the very end.
If I ever needed to read a second book, it’s in this series, I cannot wait!! Although I may need to free up some time before I start it, because if its anything like the first book I’m going to struggle to put it down once I’m into it.
