Life is good. Cami is away at her dream college with her dream man by her side. She thinks if she can get through meeting Hunters family, everything will be perfect. Little does she know, life is about to take a turn for the worst when Hunter is called to infiltrate a gang whose specialty is chopping and racing cars. The worst part is, Hunters connection is a curvy girl who is the gang’s leaders sister, and he has to pretend to be her boyfriend, to get in with the gang.
Hunter, however, hates being away from the girl he really loves, so he sneaks out one night to meet her across town. What he doesn’t know is that the gang leader, Ripper, has suspicions about him already, so he follows him. When Hunter spots him, he introduces Cami as his step-sister, in a panic. To make matters worse, Ripper takes a liking to Cami and tries to make his move.
I gave this 5 stars
Hunter really fits well with the cover, the boy on the front fits what I have in mind when I think of Hunter. Gorgeous face with an amazing personality, so dreamy! That’s so rare.
Why I Enjoyed This Read
I am so smitten! This was a great follow up book to the first, its jam-packed with plenty of juicy drama to keep us hooked. Poor Hunter can’t get a break, but it wouldn’t be such a great series if everything went well for him throughout. So, of course, they throw him a big fat bomb to stir stuff up. it’s so gripping.
Who Would Enjoy This Read
Anyone who loves a juicy drama-filled series, with a unique storyline. Not just the boring love story, for a young adult romance series.
Cami is a strong female lead for this series, she’s strong, speaks her mind and takes no crap from anyone. I was smiling like a weirdo throughout, they really communicate well as a couple and I just love them as a couple as individual people.
