Book Review For Perfect – Pretty Little Liars (3)

Author – Sara Shepard

Book Review For Perfect

Aria can’t stay away from her forbidden ex. Hanna is on the verge of losing her BFF. Emily is freaking out over a simple kiss. Spencer can’t keep her hands off anything that belongs to her sister.

Lucky me. I know these pretty little liars more than they know themselves. Its so hard keeping the secrets to myself, so they better do as I say, or else…

I gave this 4 stars

My Thoughts

The notes from A are so gripping and exciting, even more than the series goes on, and we’re only on book 3! How much crazier can it get from these girl’s?!

Why I Enjoyed This Read

We get an equal amount of the girl’s story and I find it so exciting, waiting to see how each girl’s story continues where it left off. There’s so many questions and so many clues.

Who Would Enjoy This Read

Someone looking for a young adult story that isn’t just about your usual boring teen drama, a series full of drama, suspense and mystery.

Overall Thoughts

WHO IS A? I’m dying to know, but yet I don’t want to suspense to end, im enjoying it too much. One minute I think I know, then something happens that shuts down that idea completely and im back to guessing, and questioning every character.

The ending left me on a cliffhanger, I just had to pick up the next book. I was so glad I had it on my shelve in my bedroom.

I think every girl, no matter how old, enjoys these types of mystery, girlie drama stories.  My old roommate really liked the show, and I only watched a few episodes, so I really don’t know who A is yet – yet I am intrigued to find out.

Have you watched the show, or only read the books?  I think i might enjoy the books more then the show because I love the detail in books, and who doesn’t love a good novel?

Great review – you’ve got me interested now 🙂

I watched the TV series first season a while back and thought it was ‘pretty’ good. I saw that they started publishing this series as books and remembered thinking it might be better to read these type of stories. I’m into suspense and as long as it has good reviews I told myself I’d give it a read.  Since you also rated it on the high side, I guess I’ll be looking forward to the cliffhanger…thanks.

My daughter absolutely loves this show! It’s great that you have brought in this review. These will make a great Christmas present for my daughter. As we all know the books are usually better than the show itself.

The secrets contained in these stories, I would always find out from my daughter of what her opinions were about the show itself.

I know you can’t divulge too much. If you have watched the show, what do you think is the main difference? Why do you think my daughter will enjoying reading it versus watching the tv show?

It sounds like you are really hooked on the story development.  I see that this is book number three in the series.  Has the author revealed how many installments are planned?

Since this is a series…I’m assuming that the page numbers on these are a bit shorter?…like a novella which is longer than a short story and shorter than a book.

So now that you are invested in the story…how long before the next book in the series?  Did the author put out a schedule for release dates on future updates?
