Book Review For Never Forget (Book 1)
A city, a girl, a summer they’ll never forget.
Spending the summer at the Grandma’s in Lilac Bay, Devon, is city girl Alexis’s ‘Lexy’ idea of hell. Until she reconnects with her childhood friend Jen, and she meets Alec Johnson.
Alec is the kind of guy Lexy knows she should stay away from. He’s the village flirt, extremely hot and very dangerous to her self-control. But there’s a problem, she can’t seem to keep him out, even though she knows he’ll break her heart.
As Aleck slowly strips away her defenses, and the two embark on a summer romance she never wanted, their feelings grow to more than they both expected.
I gave this 4 stars
This story is adorable, it really makes you feel with the characters are feeling. The love between Lexy and her grandma from the very start is truly moving.
Why I Enjoyed This Read
There’re cute parts, happy parts, sad parts, and overall the storyline is a cute love story with good family morals. Granny is a good character and its good to see the family relationships in the mix. Grannies are funny, she had me laughing out loud a few times.
